I was born at a really early age.  From there, I went on to become somewhat older.
I started my life in a small midwestern town,  but I don't remember too much of that.
When I was a young strappin' boy,  my parents moved to the big city located somewhere's
outside of Washington DC. ,  but I found them eventually.
It was about this time,  I started to take guitar lessons.

I spent my teen age years in some other city, also outside of Washington DC,  and those
were great years.  I managed to hang out with all the wrong people,  and get into all kinds
of trouble.  Yessir, those were great years.

I consider myself a product of the 70's,  which has its'  good points and bad points.

After finishing up high school,  which only took 4 years to do, believe it or not,  I went off
  to college.
This is where I learned the fine art of mastering the Frisbee.
I did do a lot of pickin' in college too. Nothing spectacular,  just a few of us getting together
on a Saturday night to jam a little.

After a short spell at college,  I hooked up with a couple friends,  and we rented
a townhouse together for a couple years.
There were some great memories, and a few lifetime friendships were born during that
  time.

It was about this time, that I started writing my own songs, and with the help of my buddy,
we wrote song after song after song.  Some of them were pretty good too........well,  at
  least from an amateur standpoint.

Eventually,  I joined a country band,  called Southbound, and that took me to some great
places to play music, locally.  It was in this band,  that I had the opportunity to play quite a
  few of my original songs.
We were together for a good many years, and the memories are fondly remembered.

After Southbound, I joined a small rag tag band of acoustic pickers,  and we had some
great times pickin' and grinnin'.  And again,  more fond memories were created.

Then I joined a Gospel band for a while,  and once again,  an opportunity to play some of my         original songs.  Yes, I wrote some Gospel tunes as well...........odd as that may seem.

Along the way, I met some great friends,  and played with a huge number of really good
musicians.  Music is a wonderful thing to be involved in.
It's a gift to be shared.

Too this day, I still do some jammin' with several of these close friends,  and I
am still writing songs.  And I still get together with the guy who wrote all those songs with
me, way back in the day.

People ask me what type of music I play,  and I tell  'em :
Take country,  folk,  bluegrass,  country rock,  acoustic rock,  & southern rock,  and put
those all in a blender, and there you have it.

Some day, I'm going to get a guitar like this one.
